A hideaway for two! 4 star cosy cotttage for a single person or a couple and it is available for holidays and short breaks. A sundeck and solar heated swimming pool are available from May to September. The Cottage is a perfect peaceful base to relax and explore the coast and countryside and attractions of South Devon. Cosy character cottage( one of six ) with the comforts of modern day living, it has an open plan lounge/diningroom/kitchen with comfortable furniture and a modern attractive white kitchen. The entrance lobby leads to the newly fitted toilet with vanitary unit. On the first floor an open plan double bedroom with ensuite shower and hand basin, the bedroom is decorated to compliment the beamed room with lilac toned furnishings and Art Nouveau dressing table.

We like our guests to feel at home so we provide an abundance of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses, all linen including towels and tea towels, electricity and heating, a supply of environmentally friendly products and washing up liquid. Freeview TV and DVD player and internet access are all included in the hire fee. The cottage has a secluded out door seating area in a quite corner of the garden overlooking the beautiful cottage garden and bird feeders, an ideal spot for your evening glass of wine while watching our many feathered visitors to the garden. .Guests are invited to enjoy the beautiful cottage garden alongside which is the spacious sun deck with loungers and solar heated pool which is available from May to September. Please bring your own beach/pool towels The water supply to the Cottage is from our spring, provides in our opinion the best tasting water in Devon!

Situated in the lovely village of Marldon in South Devon. An ideal location to explore the award winning beaches, beautiful country side and historic towns of, Totnes, Dartmouth and Torquay.The ancient village of Marldon, its lanes, countryside ancient Church and Church House Inn are featured in several published Devon walking guides. Sorry No dogs, Free WIFI Internet. Parking for one car. Access, 22 metres from the car park on a shingle pathway and three steps down into the cottage. Toilet on the ground floor, shower and bedroom on the first floor. Lilac Cottage is not suitable for young children or babies over six months.

If Lilac Cottage is not available for the date you require ask about a free upgrade to a two bedroom cottage. Four star comfortable cosy cottage just a short stroll from an excellent village Inn. Short drive from attractions and coastal towns. Terrace with table and chairs, garden with sundeck, outdoor solar heated pool, mid May to mid September.
