Watermouth Cove Cottages are eight pretty cottages are set in tranquil grounds in a secluded valley adjacent to 150-year old Watermouth Castle just 200 yards from the sea. They are located half way between Combe Martin and Ilfracombe on the North Devon coast.
Smugglers cove is a large ground floor cottage, spacious, attractive lounge with log fire, colour TV/DVD and lovely views of the castle and lake. Smugglers Cove is our largest cottage. It has a four poster bedroom and two twin bedded rooms - plus double bed settee in the lounge. Separate fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave, dishwasher etc, and spacious dining area. Basket of logs provided on arrival. Bathroom with electric shower and separate WC. Smugglers Cove also has its own patio overlooking the south facing courtyard. It is ideal for larger families and groups or couples wishing to spoil themselves! It has an entrance porch and a separate lounge with lovely views of the castle and lake.
North Devon enjoys a mild climate with many palm trees, and fuchsias flowering throughout the year. Ilfracombe, which is only two miles east of Watermouth Cove, enjoys one of the highest average year round temperatures in the United Kingdom (per Daily Mail survey 2001).

Week tariffs shown are for 1 - 6 people using one, two or three bedrooms.
Weekend 3 night or Midweek 4 night tariffs shown are for couples. For 3 - 6 people please add £20 for use of each second bedroom and third bedroom.
We charge £10 for use of sofa bed (Price includes linen).
