Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the North Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold market towns and has many wonderful views. It is an unspoiled and charming small town once famous for its wool trade, but now better known for its antique shops, art galleries, book and craft shops. The mellow Cotswold stone buildings are a mix of 17th and 18th century origins, giving an atmosphere of a time and pace of life long past.
