Pitcairlie House is a 16th century mansion house situated within a 120 acre estate of woods, streams, parklands, and two lakes one stocked with rainbow trout which can be fished. It has been awarded a Scottish Tourist Board 4 Star rating.
The apartment is within the Victorian wing and is self contained. A two-storey accommodation with six steps up to the verandah and entrance. On the lower floor is a cosy sitting room with gas fire and a small, well equipped kitchen area. A feature spiral stair (unsuitable for small children) leads up the the upper floor containing one double bedroom with en suite shower and wc, one twin bedroom, and a shower room with wc.
There is an excellent indoor heated swimming pool and sauna situated within this wing.
This central location is ideal for rambling and hillwalking, and visits to the coast with its sandy beaches, picturesque fishing villages and is surrounded by golf courses suited to either the pofessional or amateur.
