The stylishly furnished accommodation has four star grading from Visit Britain Quality in Tourism. Situated overlooking the River Thames at Gravesend, Kent twenty five miles downstream from London Bridge.
The first floor flat, built in 2002, is served by stairs and entrance is via self operated entryphone at ground floor level. Allocated car parking is on site. Accommodation comprises entrance hall, living room with sofa and dining area, and separate kitchen both overlooking the river; a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and toilet, a single bedroom and the main bathroom with a full sized bath and toilet. The property is new, tastfully decorated and equipped with full oven, hob, washing machine/drier, fridge/freezer, microwave, television, video and radios. A put you up Z-bed is stored in the flat and a travelling cot can be made available.
Gravesend is an historic river town, much favouroured by the Victorians over a century ago for weekend visits and riverboat day trips from London. Today though, three minutes walk from the flat are all the facilities of the town centre. Bluewater, the largest covered shopping complex in Europe, is only a 5 mile journey away. At the landing stage near the flat, berths the all year half hourly ferry service to Tilbury on the opposite side of the River. The ferry is met by bus which could you could use to get to the Lakeside shopping centre, with a better variety of shops than Bluewater, or perhaps just walk from the quayside for a quiet pub lunch. In the summer boat trips are available to Central London or along the Kent and Essex coasts.
