The Farmhouse has 2 double bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom) and 2 twin bedded bedrooms. The main sitting room has a 3 piece suite, colour TV and electric fire, an archway leads through to the dining room. there is a smaller living room - called the 'snug' which has a fireplace and french windows leading onto the patio overlooking the river. The kitchen is fitted and fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, electric cooker and hob, and microwave. There is a utility room which houses the freezer, washing machine and tumble drier.
Set in 24 acres of privately owned hill land sloping down to the river with its tumbling waters enjoying an abundance of wildlife with buzzards and herons. Beautiful walks abound on nearby Bannisdale, Potter Fell and Haweswater, famous for the drowned village of Mardale. Market town of Kendal with shops, restaurants and indoor leisure centre and theatre is approx. 5 miles, Lake Windermere is approximately 20 minutes drive. Trout fishing available on ½ a mile of private river, 15th March to 31st Oct, plus small fishing lake.
