Ffinnant Uchaf looks over to the peaks of the Brecon Beacons and is nestled in the untouched farmland which surround it. Although the setting is rural, the main link roads of the A40 and A470 are within 10 minutes drive of the cottage. The cottage is set on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and is close to the Black mountains range also. The Wye and Usk rivers are within close proximity too which provide the area with some stunning scenery.
The cottage is ideal for all, whether you're a couple wanting a last minute getaway or a family looking for an active weekend. All enquiries are welcome and we will try our best to accomodate your stay.
The kitchen diner is a lovely space with an inglenook fireplace as a feature. Modern appliances are fitted and kitchen well equipped for your stay. High chair also provided as are kitchen cleaning products and tea towels.
The relaxing sitting room is a calming room, tastefully decorated and Sky TV. Plenty of leaflets to look through highlighting the good places to eat and visit.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms, one double with sink and cot if needed. One double bedroom with the original fireplace as feature and oak bed, and a twin room which look onto farm animals in the adjoining fields. Bed Linen is provided and beds are made up for your arrival.
Separate toilet and bathroom, central heating throughout the property by Economy7 heaters.
There are plenty of quirky shops to visit to do buy gifts/Xmas or birthday present in Brecon, Crickhowell, Abergavenny, Hay on Wye. The cottage is based in an ideal situation for the perfect drive through stunning valleys and mountains to reach your destination. Good country pubs can be recommended so you have less cooking to do and taste some real home cooked country food! Make the most of your break......Any Length of stay welcomed, mid week or weekend.
