Ambarley is a large, detached barn conversion with lawn and garden surrounding it. It is situated a mile north of Warleggan, at the end of a pretty wooded lane where moorland ponies and cattle amble, Warleggan is a hamlet of cottages and ancient church, deep in wooded lanes, on the southern side of Bodmin Moor. Nearest shop/PO/good food pub at St Neot, largish village with fine church (medieval glass), 3 miles. Fishing at Colliford Lake, 3 miles. Bodmin, 8 miles. Eden Project, 15 miles. Local pony trekking.
There is a pond in the 4 acres of open-plan grounds. . It is an excellent place for walkers with footpaths onto the moor from the property. Please note. There are six steps down from the parking area.
Front door into open-plan, 42’ long living/dining/kitchen (table-top dishwasher, washing machine, microwave) with woodburner and some exposed beams. Three steps down to bathroom (suite plus bath-shower) and a double bedroom, another 3 steps down to a 27’ long room with twin beds plus a bed-couch, games, toys, books. Back in the living room, a short flight of stairs up to a room with two single beds, en suite bathroom (suite) and Velux window. No smoking. Bed linen (not towels), central Heating and electricity are included.
