Casita Janine is a luxury apartment in the beautiful village of Mijas on the Costa del Sol. Every room has a panoramic view of the coast, mountains and the beautiful village, the centre of which is just a ten minute walk away. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms (one king and one twin), two shower rooms, a lounge/dining room, fully equipped kitchenette, air co./heating units, private terrace, BBQ and parking. The swimming pool is heated in October, March, April and May in order to extend the swimming season and there is also a Hydrotherapy Spa with seating for six people which is heated throughout the year. Although the apartment forms part of a private villa it has its own private entrance and terraces which overlook the gardens and the breathtaking views.
There are over forty excellent restaurants to suit all pockets situated in the village and literally hundreds with a few minutes drive. There are too many to mention here but we would be pleased to advise you about those that we feel have good food and which are good value for money as well as those that you may like to consider for that special night out.
Mijas, with its amazing views and backdrop of mountains is a gem of Spain and its wonderful scenery makes it the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. However, if you prefer to be more active then its central position on the Costa del Sol makes it the perfect location to explore the many interesting and beautiful sights of the region. Fuengirolla (which has shopping as good as anywhere in the world) and the many sandy beaches on the coast are just fifteen minutes drive, Marbella and Puerto Banus are twenty minutes, Ronda and Gibraltar one hour, Granada (the Alhambra Palace) and Seville two hours and the ancient city of Cordoba one and a half hours. In addition, within just fiteen minutes there is the Aqua Park, Tivoli Gardens, the amazing ecological zoo of Fuengirolla, several marinas and a multitude of golf courses. There really is something for everyone, culture, golf, fun and relaxation. If you decide not to drive then the local bus service is excellent and there are many interesting trips.
