Linda, Ken, Claire and Patrick invite you to escape from the hurley burley of modern day living and enjoy the Pack Horse's old world charm, real food, drink and good company.

We offer two comfortably furnished double rooms and one single, all of which are ensuite and include television and tea/coffee making facilities. We provide full English breakfast to our guests and evening meals can be enjoyed either in the bar or the dining room. All meals are cooked to order, using fresh, seasonal produce wherever possible.

The Pack Horse is located in the historic village of South Brent, halfway between Exeter and Plymouth. We are an ideal base for walking on Dartmoor, being within a mile of the moor. At Shipley Bridge there is a free car park on the moor itself and an easy walk of 1.5 miles takes you to the scenic Avon dam.
