The Bay Horse at Brandon County Durham is managed by John Drane. The Pub caters for locals and visitors to the area. The building itself is over 300 years old which still retains a lot of the charm of the old ages being an old Coaching Inn. Having been tastefully modernised, with the old stables and courtyard now providing excellent detached accommodation.

The stone built accommodation comprises three double, six twin bedded and one family room, each with private facilities comprising shower, washbasin and toilet. The double glazed rooms are attractively furnished with duvets, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, hairdryer and reading lights above each bed. With seating for up to sixty, the restaurant has a traditional atmosphere where evening meals are available on request.

This truly wonderful public house and restaurant that also offers accommodation, and being on the doorstep of Durham itself makes it an ideal location to enjoy the areas heritage. Brandon is only 3 miles from the centre of Durham City.
