The Devonport Hotel is a country house hotel run as a family business by Julia Ellwood, the proprietor,& Chris Mills, company secretary. Julia is well known in the area with over 20 years experience in catering management.

We have a beautiful development of 18 bedrooms, 16 of which are en suite. There is a top class fine dining restaurant for both residents & public use. An accompanying lounge bar provides further high class bar food. Facilities are available for functions such as christenings, weddings, lectures, meetings or club style meals which can be arranged in any of 3 function areas.

The River Tees is less than 100 yards in front of the Devonport Hotel with fishing rights available. By arrangement with our local courses at Dinsdale Spa, Stressholme, Darlington & Eaglescliffe we can offer the accommodation & meals for a golfing package to include green fees for as many rounds as your party requires.
