The Mount Batten Centre, based in historic Plymouth is considered the South West's premier sailing and watersports facility. We offer comfortable, affordable accommodation and friendly, welcoming service. We have 23 rooms offering comfortable accommodation for up to 53 people therefore perfect for residential activity packages, groups and also suitable for conferencing guests or simply a competitively priced break. Our four en-suite rooms (twin, double, triple and family rooms) have a TV and tea & coffee making facilities. These rooms are also suitable for disabled guests. Our cabin style bunk rooms sleep up to three guests and have a hand basin along with excellent shower facilities on each floor. All rooms come with fresh bed linen and most benefit from stunning water and landscape views. Surrounded by the superb waters of Plymouth Sound and various tributary rivers, the Centre is an ideal base for an enormous variety of water-based activity with a wide range of affordable outdoor activities and watersports opportunities. Plymouth is the country's largest naval port and a hive of considerable maritime commerce. Situated on the stunning Mount Batten peninsula, we benefit from superb 180o views stretching from the Cattewater across the quaint Barbican to Plymouth Sound. Being a short drive to the beautiful Dartmoor National Park, our location lends itself perfectly to our wide range of water and land based activities along with coastal path and moorland walks and cycling.
