It is a spacious Victorian stone-built villa on the outskirts of Gilsland village which straddles Cumbria and Northumberland..We are at the heart of Hadrians Wall Country, less that 0.5 mile from the Roman sites of Birdoswald and Willowford. We are just off the line of Hadrians Wall Trail and Route 72 Coast to Coast Cycle Way, and on the edge of the Northumberland National Park.
