Jean and Dud invite you to Barnabas House, a gracious Edwardian residence, tucked away in a quiet location with views over Dartmoor. A relaxing and enjoyable stay for our guests is of paramount importance to us and we provide a variety of services to ensure this is the case.

We offer spacious, centrally heated, ensuite double and single bedrooms with comfortable beds, top quality bed linen and towels. We also offer a twin room with private adjacent bathroom. We can arrange specially prepared packed lunches and offer light lunches/afternoon tea in our tearooms. Geusts have the option of a full English or Continental breakfast, using fresh local produce.

Barnabas House is centrally located between the market town of Tavistock and the city of Plymouth. Local amenities are within easy reach and include shops, garages, health centre, churches, several excellent restaurants and pubs. For the energetic, Dartmoor offers numerous sporting opportunities including walking, mountain biking, horse riding golfing, sailing, fishing or just a gentle walk.
