The name Highbre Crest is Cornish for 'peaceful hill', which is exactly where the house is situated - in a quiet position just off the B3254. Highbre Crest enjoys stunning views of the rugged North Cornwall coast at Bude and Widemouth Bay and beautiful rural views of the Devon and Cornwall border.

The house offers three very spacious en-suite bedrooms, a good-sized garden to relax in, a guests lounge with a full-size snooker table and a very comfortable conservatory with panoramic views and a Dining Room where delicious breakfasts are served. It has a local museum, golf course and antiques market. The ancient town of Launceston, with its prominent castle ruins, has a popular working steam railway. Bude, with its two excellent sandy beaches, offers surfing, a links golf course and extensive walks alongside the historical canal.
