Come and stay at Karslake Country Guest House in Winsford, one of Exmoor's finest guest houses. Our accommodation is second to none and Exmoor is the perfect place to spend a long and well earned holiday or ashort weekend break.

Enjoy a pampering stay on our large comfortable rooms,allof which are attractively decorated. Rooms 1 and 8 are fully ensuite, with views of the garden and/or the Exe valley. Room 6 has a superior king size mattresses and is fully ensuite, with views of the garden. Room 4 has a shower, toilet and hand basin. Room 5 has a shower and hand basin, and the use of a private bathroom across the corridor. Room 7 is a luxury ensuite with king size four poster bed. The lounge is shared amongst all our guests and is the perfect place to unwind after a long walk or to enjoy a leisurely coffee after dinner. We have a spacious rosette award winning restaurant. and all our food is home made and freshly cooked to order using only the finest local produce.

Winsford, set in a lush valley on Exmoor is one of the prettiest, villages in the West Country. Steeped in history and mentioned in the Domesday book which was finished in 1085 and many aspects of this ancient village are still present. Exmoor itself is without doubt one of the most diverse and beautiful places to visit in England or Europe. From the heather coated moorland hills you can make your way down to the luscious wooded valleys to rivers where you can see Dippers, Kingfishers and perhaps our Red Deer.
