We hope that our guests will enjoy the comfortable surroundings and feel relaxed and at home in Ivy House Hotel. As a family-run hotel, we take much pride in our reputation for providing comfortable accommodation in a friendly, informal atmosphere.

We have six bedrooms in the main house, and five in Mere Lodge, situated just across the drive. All bedrooms have en suite facilities and are attractively furnished, centrally heated and equipped with colour televisions and hot-drinks trays. Children are welcome, with cots and high chairs provided where necessary. We have two family rooms located in the main house and we have a total of five ground floor rooms, one in the main house and four in Mere Lodge. We have a log fire in our lounge most evenings. We are licenced and have a comprehensive list of wines.

There are some delightful pubs & restaurants in the village of Hawkshead for those who enjoy a short walk and some real ale. N.B. We are one of the few hotels in the village able to offer private parking for all our guests at the rear of the hotel.
