St Olaves is a former Georgian town house originally built over 200 years ago for one of the prominent local merchants. A later edition was added as the vicarage for St Mary Arches Church and local residents can still remember playing in the garden with the rectors children.The walled garden has been preserved and offers alfresco dining in addition to a quiet place to relax and read or test the locally produced wines on a sunny day.

The hotel has 14 en-suite bedrooms and 2 suites with the flexibility to accommodate families in some of the adjoining bedrooms, which can be turned into 2 bedroom family suites. All the rooms have modern bathroom suites with power showers and each room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, home made biscuits, chocolates and hair dryers. The Treasury Restaurant, named to mark the fact that Charles II's coins were minted close by is open for lunch and dinner and offers both a short but interesting snack menu and two and three course meals.
