Facilities: Our 2 rooms (Oleander and Hibiscus) are large and have tea making facilities as well as a small sofa and outside terrace area.

A restored 19th Century Portuguese farmhouse, Quinta das Achadas is situated on the western part of the Algarve. Secluded and unspoilt, this enviable oasis of peace and quiet finds itself conveniently close to the historic town of Lagos and from only 10 minutes to some of the best beaches in Portugal. We are just 40 minutes from Faro airport. A luxury B&B plus so much more!!

Home cooked breakfasts are made with local produce and optional evening meals are served twice a week in winter. In summer there are nightly BBQ’s on our roof top terrace.Take breakfast on your own private terrace surrounded by fig, almond and orange trees. Expect farm fresh eggs and newly baked bread accompanied by homemade preserves. Twice a week, the Quinta’s friendly owners, Jill and Julio Pires, offer a communal 3 course evening meal served in their open plan, country kitchen.

The Quinta also has 3 fully equipped, self catering apartments and 2 en-suite double rooms, plus a large, heated salt water swimming pool, poolside cabana, hot tub and a separate play area for kids.
