Bluebell Barn

Originally converted as part of the TV programme “Homefront”, our B&B Barn near Banham in Norfolk (30 minutes from Norwich and 40 minutes from Bury St Edmunds) has been lovingly improved over the past six years into a substantial family home. We are enclosed in an acre of grounds surrounded on three sides by open fields, so if you have a four legged friend to bring along, friendly dogs are very welcome to join you. Well behaved children over the age of ten are also welcome.

There are two bedrooms. The Rose room – a beautiful, light and airy large double room with private entrance and en-suite shower. The Bluebell Room - double room with private entrances and en-suite shower. This pretty room also has the additional facility of a separate single bedroom adjoining making this room ideal for a small family. The Suite (Coming soon) - Large double suite with lounge area. This also has the benefit of a private entrance with en-suite bathroom. All accommodation is on the ground floor with their own entrance. Breakfast is served in the Barn’s impressive main hall. All our breakfast ingredients are all sourced from our local butcher and our eggs are free range. Traditional English or Continental breakfast is prepared to order. Afternoon tea is also available on arrival. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

There are many places to visit and things to do in the area, such as, National Trust houses, Banham Zoo, ILPH, Go Ape, Bressingham Steam Museum, Thursford Steam Museum, Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit. Walking, Riding, Cycling, Bird watching in Thetford Forest, Peddars Way, North Norfolk Coast, boating on the Broads. The cathedral city of Norwich with its many historic attractions and excellent shopping is only 30 minutes away. Bury St Edmunds historic market town is also only 40 minutes away. Also, Diss is a market town famous for its Mere and auction house.
