If you need somewhere to stay in Torquay that is comfortable and convenient for all amenities Abington House is the provides the ideal retreat. Our aim is to make your stay with us in Torquay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We have 5 guest rooms including 1 large room on the ground floor - ideal for anyone with mobility problems. Disabled people are most welcome. All of our rooms are fully furnished with tea and coffee making facilities and colour television. There is a large, comfortable sitting room for use of guests an da Full English Breakfast is included in the room price. Evening meals or packed lunches can be provided by arrangement.

Torquay offers 22 miles of coastline, cliffs, coves and beaches and walks to rival any in the South West of England, with a climate that belongs somewhere much further south. There are opportunities for surfing, safe swimming, diving, sailing, angling and wonderful opportunities to study the natural wildlife at your leisure. Stunning views are to be seen just about every where across the Bay, out over the English Channel, along the 40 miles of Lyme Bay to Portland Bill or inland towards the Tors of Dartmoor. Torquay is an ideal base from which to visit Dartmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth, all of which are only a few miles distant.
